Young Lions Go Competition To Bring Back Live Streams

November 1, 2023 — The American Go Honor Society (AGHS) is excited to resume its annual Young Lions Go Competition on November 12 and 19, 2023. This year, the AGHS will bring back live streaming of top board games in collaboration with Baduk Club.

All players aged 18 and under, currently residing in North America, are eligible to participate. The four rounds of games will be held on KGS, with two games each on Sundays, November 12 and November 19. The games will be held at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT and 2 pm ET /11 am PT on those dates. Players who attend all rounds will receive a special surprise.

The top boards will be required to have cameras on during their matches. Since the top boards will be streamed, this prevents players from viewing the live stream during the match.

Time settings will be 30 minutes of main time followed by three periods of 30-second byo-yomi. Japanese rules will be used.

Register by November 8 using this Registration Form, and refer to the Rules & Regulations document. Email aghsregister@gmail.com with any questions.
